Does anyone know what the score is with bowsers overshooting a dialled amount?? - is it user beware or is there recourse for some sort of official complaint??

I've had a couple of incidents where I've only had a $20 note on me - period - no eft card or credit card - and not even any spare change in the car - but the &^%$# bowser has overshot by a few cents - which officious &^%$wits behind the counter insist I pay. Of course when I have another few hundred bucks in my wallet or am fully loaded with cards or various types the bowsers are always absolutely accurate

ive had it happen once, i pre set $50 and it went over by 5c, not that 5c is an issue but i cbf breaking another 50 for 5c. nothing s**t me more than getting $10 in 1's 2 and 50c coins because of 5c
i told the dude it was pre set and went over, he insisted i give him 5c.
i handed him the $50 and said if you dont like it call the cops and i walked out...
nothing ever happened over it.

There are the few servo's with the 'stiff s**t' jar with change - sometimes donate to, sometimes take out of.

The Ethanol station on Kinghorne is the only station I've seen do that snap. Unfortunately there aren't many places around that have trustworthy enough clientèle to support this. I was actually blown away to see it, and it's the only one I can say I have seen.

On the note of pre-setting, I rarely do but when I have it's never overshot. I'm more worried about that amount actually making it into my tank, which is a gamble at any servo at the best of times.

Plug i've had some nozzles almost get stuck, so don't like putting it right in.

That one was first to mind obviously - have seen a couple others over the years - small servo's though - doubt you'd see that in the bigger ones.
