I'm all for you getting the P platers with a P plated car but you have to draw a few lines in the sand.

What's the surveillance protocol? Does it merely involve driving around in an inconspicuous vehicle in a non provocative manner or does it involve baiting practises such as revving your engine next to another P plater at the lights in the hope he reacts and you can book him?

If you are not being a d**k in your new under cover car then I see no problem with it. The entire national highway patrol could equip themselves with such vehicles with my approval, provided no baiting goes on.

I can't help myself here.

Like everyone, i have a speeding ticket on my record from 6 years ago, but i'm pretty sure thats it. I lost my licence for it, and learnt my lesson after that. My point is that i drive normally everyday to and from work, yet get pulled over almost everytime a cop see's me. I never get done for anything, i don't have any outstanding warrants, its almost like they do it for fun. The last time it happened, the cop was a rude f**k faggot, and f**k me restraint was difficult.

Where is the fairness in that???

i see what your saying pimp, but im pretty sure they dont do it for fun as there is a lot of paperwrk involved in making an arrest or issueing a fine and usually there are alot of other things happening that take priority or pulling up hoons.

the fact that u get pulled over regularly may have something to do with the appearance of your car or the manner in which you drive it, perhaps you in some way draw attention to yourself?
unfortunatly there are some very, how shall i say this, unprofessional police on the job, and some of them are really rude and some are probably "f**k Faggots", the job can go to their heads and they get a real sense of power which is a shame for the rest of us as the majority are good blokes. dont let the minority of the police force give the rest of us a bad name,

and im sorry about your bad experiences mate.

but for the most part, if you have a good attitude with us, we have a good attitude with you

You see thats the thing, my car is always as clean and well presented as it can possibly be, and i don't drive it in "such a manner to attract attention", as i don't want attention from anyone. I always try to be patient with them, but this one "cop" drew the line.

Next time i won't be trying to be patient.

mate i can tell you that would be a bad move, be patient. i wouldnt give them an excuse to use force because we will only take so much. believe it or not cops are human beings too and we dont need to be spoken to or treated like s**t.

but lets just hope there is no next time aye ;)

PIMP_LTD, feel free to b**ch slap Chris on the next cruise ok ?

Back on topic. really folks, you wouldn't be labeled a hoon or get treated like one if you behave yourself on the road don't you think? I think half the problem is the ego, they get the sense they're untouchable. a sense of C**k takes over sorta speak, and when they do get the attention they were looking for, they log on to their favorite hoon forum and start b**ch or tries to justify it.

the other side of the story is. well most coppers are real C***. don't know if they are having a bad day or it's their personal mission to tackle hooning. twisting and manipulating every loophole to get the next young naive lad who is now shell shocked knowing his car is getting towed! LOL

Here's another thing that gets most people... lack of respect with the bloke that has the upper hand. if you f**k up big time then sorry theres no hope talking your way out.....

I have arisen from this boozy state as described, lol

I havent got my own car just yet, but driving my mums around I have to tell you, I am consious of undercover cops in unmarked cars as well as hidden speed camera's.
I dont know how to put this any other way than i drive safer more often because of this thought. So im saying it works from the cops point of view.

In vic its f**k to get your licence and you have to hold it for 4 years now, and thats your first year on P1's (red P's). If I am to lose my licence, and I only have 5 demerit points, That will set me back 3 months + another 6 months for not having a 'clean' driving record. You cannot move from P1's to P2's without this, 'clean record'.

Ill be f**k if I have my P's for 5 years so anything like undercover cop cars with P plates plays on your mind a bit. I better save up for a new pushy cos 4 years is a long time and i will probs be going for a walk at some point.

I think its pretty dog though, and you just have to be careful.
Personally I wouldnt even try to drag a F6 Typhoon anyway, so if someone is revving u up at the lights, check em out first and if they got the windows up, f**k em...

my 2p

Chris what would happen if you revved your P plater equipped unmarked car up at the lights next to a ham fisted youth with little car control skills and he took off, crashed and died.
