they said more coverage! bah let see all the hard work 10 has put in to bring the sport to where it is and watch ch7 f**k it up! due to the footy being more popular ffs AUS needs a dedictaed free to air sports channel

well i jumped the gun a bit, its only s.a. that wont see it untill 10:30pm but heres the dumb bit, there isnt even a s.a. team playing.

Well I looked in the local paper and saw that it will be airing at 12pm-3pm followed by the AFL. I'm not too sure about the metro areas, but I am pretty sure that they wouldn't screw you over like that.

i read about it in todays advertiser and at the end of the racing today they showed the broadcast times for tomorow and s.a. was the only state that will see it late, fuk knows why.

has any1 else heard that v8s will not be showed sunday arvo but instead they will be on at 10:30pm, what a fuking joke. people sayed this would hapen but i realy didnt think prime would have got the deal if they couldnt commit to the normal sunday time slot.

yer 7 are playing the footy instead of the v8s.
its preety stupid that we will hear who wins on the news before we can watch the race. it ruins the good old v8 weekend bbq. hopfully this is a one off thing and we get the time slot back.

the fact that there IS a s.a. team playing will be the reason. port adelaide are playing sydney at 12:30. i don't know why they can't put the race on after that game. obviously they will get more viewers for the footy here than the v8's but to delay it till 10:30 is ridiculous. i watched qualifying yesterday and with only 2 fords in the top 10 i turned it off and went round to help my brother do some paving. the results i found out later still didn't excite me much as i knew it was just luck as they had the right tyres on at the right time or something. i'm not all that upset about the v8's being on late as the category is going downhill at the moment. even the ch7 commentary already has the focus and bias toward the red teams happening. ambrose would be glad to be out of this series i reckon. he was the best thing to happen to ford australia for years. as much as i like lowndes he seems to have lost something this year and i wouldn't mind betting that last years results, even though he says he has moved on, are still affecting his attitude and desire this year. sorry for the rant. maybe this is what it was like for a holden supporter over the previous 4 years. now its our turn for the drought again!

At least with 7 we have it on both days of the weekend. On 10 the only rounds that got 2 day coverage were bathurst and clipsal. All the regular rounds had a condensed package aired on sunday arvo which sucked big time for the ones who had to work on sundays.

not only do we get screwed on tv time slot but just watched race 2 and 40 laps took less than 1/2 an hour. bout 3 laps in i see richo coming down pit lane but then notice commentary says lap 15 and sure enough they'd chopped about 10 laps. then there was a safety car period for holdsworth around lap 20ish so they went to ads. came back from ads and its lap 36 and starting to rain again and the order nothing like what it was before. couldn't really make out what was going on. at least race 3 looks like getting full coverage.

At least nothing!!! Wasnt bad enough that channel 7 f**k us V8SC fans in SA over with the times, they didnt even show race 2 in full!!! We saw holdsworth's car sitting on the side of the road, went to an adbreak, came back to lap 34. No mention of what happened and no replay. Didnt even know hed gone to hospital until i read it this morning!!! Go rot in hell channel 7!!!!!!!!
