Give the win to Jason Richards over Skaife. Would have been better, but why couldn't they just take each other out and let Ellery win for Ford.

With about 2 laps to go there was a car leaving pit road that was dropping a bit of oil but I don't know if he had left pit road. I was hoping he did, that way there was a very real possibillity of skaife and richerds having one big mother of a last lap lose. But bloddy murphy. I haven't seen a pile up like that since 1991 when skafe won in the GTR and that guy had a heart attack on top of the mountain and died behind the wheel. Bowe and Johnson were supposed to win that day but when the race was stopped they went back to the last completed lap and skaifey and richerds won. Anyone remember the "Pack of a***hole" speech?

There was a mini pile up/road block in 03'. But this one was much worse. And will be talked about for years to come i reckon.
Murphy is an egotistical f**k, just because he won 2 years in a row at bathurst he thinks he owns every inch of road on that track.

I still remember to this day that infamous 1992 Bathurst win of the Winfield Nissan Skyline GTR piloted by the young Mark Skaife and Jim Richards in the attrocious wet conditions. That moment still and does go down in history as one of the classic moments in Bathurst History as a guy I worked with who is a perennial traveller to the Mountain once told me. As Jim Richards still gets heckled with that phrase of, " You all should be ashamed of yourselves you pack of a***hole!" line :D[

It was a crack up. I was only 10 years old at the time but I remember it very well. Everyone had thought bowe and Johnson had won on provisional results but only the guys in the commentary box knew any better. And when richards and that boofhead skaife got up to make their winners speech the whole crowd was chanting "s**t s**t". and the first thing that came out of richards' mouth was "OH YOUR ALL A PACK OF a***hole" (or something along those lines) And that was it. Sakife didn't even get a word in before richards stormed off the podium.
