Slightly different tail lights too on sedan...

Major changes aren't 'visible' though, Six speed Auto is :D

glancing and it a few times while serving customers i couldn't tell the difference between it an a BA. but considering most of the changes are mechanical, and some big and great changes they are too (mmm 6 speed auto, i want one!), that's not such a bad thing, as the BA shape is loved. so all up, i must say the BF preview was a let down as visually i could see didly squat difference. and i probably would of been incapable of picking a lot of the finer physical differences.

Here's a couple of pics from when we had the BF. Lat ones are of the koala hit on the way home, it survived and car got away with a bent numberplate.. Glad it was a loan car :)

HOLY s**t, is that picture staged or what?

I saw a BF XR8 in geelong a few weeks ago, i noticed it straight away (was coming towards me)

i recon the minor cosmetic changes are enough to distinguish the new model.

Probaly only amongst us 'fans'. Regular joe won't notice. Probaly what Ford wants too, as the BA has been such a success.

it will be interesting to see if it qualifies for wheels car of the year... not enough changes?

Unless it is side by side of a BA I cant tell the difference between the BA and BF.

Should just be a MKIII I reckon.

Will be interesting to see, there are alot of changes, but it isn't really a new model/platform.

that ute looks a bit meaner than the BA, i like the minor changes that they've made to the front, but as said previously, only ford fans would notice, before i got into fords, i couldnt tell the EF from the EL, until i bought an EL :) and i think that the difference between the two is a lot more noticable than the BA - BF, thats looks wise of course

Not staged at all, seen koala at 100km/h, braked hard and hit at ~80km/h. No damage to koala or car apart from number plate. Only 600kms old though

I'm liking the new design rims. Where they the 18's Tom?
New lower bumper certainly adds a little bit more agression to it.
Wouldn't the new 6 Speed Box for the XR's qualify them for Wheels COTY?
I'm not a Wheels reader, but if they want a new platform to qualify for new, it must be a small starting field :D

Yep, 18s. I quite liked them aswell. Also looked very nice with the huge brakes stuffed inside them.
