Howdy all.

Just a heads up that our good friend Sean ( ovo616 ) has managed to fracture his tibia a couple of nights ago and as a consequence he was carted off to the Alfred Hospital. He underwent a successful operation last night to have a steel plate inserted into his leg and is currently recovering with the assistance of "A" grade hospital drugs! :D
I have been in to visit him today to see how he is and he's doing well. For those that know him and have the ability to get in to see him, he's been placed in Ward 2E, bed 33 at the Alfred Hospital in Prahran and visiting hours are open up till 8pm.

Get well Seano...every day you're at the hospital is one lmore day you're not at work...that's the power of positive thinking :P

For everyone wanting to know, Sean tripped and fell awkwardly on his leg last Tue night...he knew it had broken pretty much straight away - ambo wasn't far off and the rest is history.

As Vic has said, try and visit him if you are in the area - there's only so much cable tv one can watch on squinto vision hospital TV !

Well I'm outta the hospital,
yeah squinto vision sucks balls,
sponge baths not as fun as i was hoping,
drugs.....ummm lotsa a drugs....

Thank you all for your comments. I ended up with a 6th grade break, i only know that it starts at 1" piss week walk it off" and ends with 6 "never do the bus stop again" type of break. so 2 screws, 1 plate, chicken wire and bog i'm all stapeled up and hoping about on crutches.

Welcome back Sean! :)
Good to hear you've survived the second op and made it home. At least now you can take it easy from work for a while... I know I enjoyed that part of the recovery.

Jeez mate. Hope you hold up okay.
Friend of ours only last week broke her Tibia. She also required steel plates.
No good mate, but here's to a quick recovery.
