I have a freshly machined, balanced 347 in early 69 block.

Specs are

Eagle Crank
Scat I beam rods
SRP forged pistons
69 Block
All bearings
RingBlock is bored, and hard blocked ready to run.
Just needs cam bearings installed.
Can arrange to be assembled.

All machined & balanced by John White Racing, ready to assemble.
All brand new
$4500

I was going to use this in my ELII XR8, then planned to use it in the GT, but now I have the big Clevo stroker, I dont need 2 big strokers.

Just thought I would put it up here before ebay this week.
Get in quick, everything top shelf here. Will make huge power with the AFR heads I have for sale.
Only selling as I have gone back to the bloody Clevelands, and the only car I have to put this in is the GT, and I dont want to modify it anymore.

Thought it would be interesting here.
Most just dont realise just what it costs to build a big engine.

I know too, but want to ensure I go he right way for me, and after seeing things like this http://cgi.ebay.com.au/FORD-WINDSOR-347-STROKER_W0QQitemZ140151729548QQihZ004QQcategoryZ72480QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem on ebay, know there are alternatives.

Yes, but pistons called performance pistons, well I know I would not run them.
Price up a decent set (Like JE/SRP) of forgies and see what they are like.
Then ask the Group N boys what John White Racing engines are like, and the answers are staring you in the face.
Add that to a 69 block, thats ready to run, block filled for strength, and longevity, as the engine was going to see lots of circuit laps, and its comparing apples with s**t.

You will only go as good as your cheapest componant.

And after reading all the grammatical errors in his advert, I dont think he would build a very good motor if he cant even spell.
Wonder if he can read a dial, vernier or mike?????

Well aware of all those facts and was only using as an example, would have a lot to specify as well, like rings, bearing, pistons etc. but if the block was square and within tolerances then i would not be too concerned with someone that can't spell.

And the differences and value of an early block, thats much stronger, and rarer also come into it.
My engine was being built for a race car, and would have had the ring flogged out of it, and was built as such.
