my mate has a spare 5 spd box out of BA which he no longer requires.
he is asking $750 ono for the box only this is not a conversion.
it has around 30k on it. located south east sydney in the shire, excellent condition.

box comes with slave cylinder as standard and bellhousing.

from wat i understand the bellhousings dont line up and they are hydraulic compared to cable

ohhh thats 1 thing i forgot....

u would need teh older style extension housing ( to bolt the sender to )
and a spedo drive gear it slides onto the rear shaft

it does with BA's... BA's with ABS have the speedo transducer deleted from the gearbox and the PCM and IC use the ABS speed sensors for speed input...
also if someone with a BA wants to do a conversion, the clutch pedal /master cylinder assembly bolts onto the existing pedal box without removing the dash or the pedal box from the car, and a ford dealer (if they have a tech who's played with the WDS enough) **should** be able to reflash your existing PCM with manual calibrations so u dont need to change the PCM. It involves a bit of manual work with the WDS (IE wiping the ECU and then selecting the part number of the PCM program u wish to have loaded
