Looks like someone has hi-jacked someone else's account. Who-ever sends their $10k to the "supposed" seller - kiss your money goodbye.

There is something very, very wrong with this. The number plate is visible it might be a good idea to do a REVS check in NSW. I don't know what the equivalent check would be in other states. This is definitely a sale to stay clear of.

pre-approved bidders only = scam

Either it's really a fake/scam. Or the seller is looking to transfer ownership of the car 'on paper' for a tax/child support/bankruptcy/<insert dodgyness here> dodge

I like this point...

"...Registered 13th January 06 ..."

But at least they don't say the car is in Italy and you are only paying for the shipping cost to Australia.

I did a search for this vehicle on REVS and it has financial interests involved in it, but at least it is in country and not-stolen, but all this guy has to do is to sell the car for however much and then the buyer has to pay what ever is left outstanding on the vehicle or it is repossessed. I know that is what the finance company will do because my brother had the same thing happen to him some years ago. Always pays to do a REVS check.

Leave this car it can only cause someone heart break and a very unwelcome hole in the wallet.
