May people that add Climate control to a car GLi, Futura are not running the correct ECU, I'm lead to believe that the ECU maintains slightly different Fan Patterns to optimize the Cabin temp, AC pump and other gizmo's.

For example, I've been informed that if you set HI fan speed on the climate control, with AC on the Thermo's will go "FLAT OUT",
However I've done the Climate Control mod to a couple of cars times and the fans don't do this.

This correct ECU to match: EL
XR6 Motor
3.45:1 Diff Ratio
Climate Control
Speed Sensitive Steering

The A/C on and fan speed inputs to the ECU have varying voltages between the CC and non CC ECU's - this is EF only.
EL's use the same voltages throughout, so there shouldn't be an issue.
