STOJ: Your idle situation, your car stalls while coming to a stop with the clutch in?

Idle screw, give it 1/8th of a turn clockwise, this will stop the problem.
It might need two turns, but small turns, each 1/8th makes a huge difference!

Why don't mechanics know this??? Its so simple!?!?

Wont work, you need an ef ecu due to the ef having coil pack and el being dizzy

what diff ratio did it have? looking at putting in a 3.45 its a hell of a lot easier if the ECU already had one :p

Its a manual dude - diff ratio doesn't matter as there are no shift points.

speed is measured from the sensor on the box.

hey gasman ready it stalls is not when clutch goes in but when i fire her up reason being its an auto ecu and a manual box did the mod to make everything work properly but when the idle switch is on it revs at about 2100 even wound down its still 1600 or so so ive disconnected it and have kept it at 1000 but just have to hold it for a few minutes when cold. Damn aftermarket cams and not being able to get the right comp
