Hi all,

I might be interested in selling my 5 litre windsor block as i've got a DART replacement coming from the US. Block has been bored 30 thou, new cam bearings, new core plugs, chemically cleaned, decked, head bolt thread's re-tapped and sprayed black.

i oil it once a month and it stay's undercover all wrapped up on an engine stand.

This block would be perfect for a tough windsor build! i'm chasing 600, machine work alone was $550.

What kind of block is it?

Is it easy to get stuff for a .030" bored block?

Since its been decked as well does it affect the piston height to head clearance?

I'd be in it for a 347 if its a tougher than stock Windsor block.

Sadly its only from a stock as a rock windsor, came out of an EF.

yeh no problem's at all getting parts for the 0.030 overbore.

There shouldn't be any issue's with it being decked. All the work's already done so you can slip some sexy forged internal's in there, make a insane windsor!

No worries. I'm after a slightly tougher block.
