Hey guys,

had to get a ute for work so am selling my EF.

Car has 318,654kms, at 240,000kms I had the motor taken out and head gasket done, a new head was put on and the motor was completely pulled apart, chemicaly washed, etc, reassembled and put back in. I have the receipts and photos and can supply the details of the guy who did the job.

Never been written off or in a major accident, I had to change the guard years ago because someone scraped it in a car park whilst parking.

It has:
New front tyres, rear 50%
New front rotors/discs and brake pads
New ball joints
New standard exhaust
New alternator
New bonnet and boot struts
Radiator and power steering pump are 2 years old, the high pressure hose, etc, on the power steering pump is new so no leaks there (keeps alternator happy as you all know!)
Cluster globes replaced
Around 6 years ago I had a reconditioned transmission put in.
I have receipts for above too (except for the transmission, I cant find it anywhere).

Im a tradie so the cars paint has seen better days, and the interior needs a good clean or seat covers.

The aircon hasnt blown cold air for ages and I never bothered to get it looked at.

Up until 3 or 4 weeks ago the car never dropped a single drop of oil, it started a small oil leak at the rear of the motor which seems to be dropping onto the round bar near where the transmission and motor meet. I had it looked at today by mechanic and was told its the rear main seal.

The car drives extremely well and smooth and overall is a good car but I dont have the time or money to fix the problems to get a RWC, so im selling it as is for $800, No RWC, has rego until march 2012. This car still has years ahead of it if either a mechanic or someone with "know how" bought it to drive, or for parts I guess. I had a fairly expensive cd player in there which I have sold separately so it currently doesnt have a radio/cd player.

Heres what the reciept for the head gasket repair says:
( I dont know what half this stuff is but most of you guys would)
-Dismantle motor
-degrease block chemical wash
-degrease component parts
-Hone block Flex Hone std bore
-Linish a crankshaft std sizes
-Assemble to long engine
-ring set Moly set Std bore
-Conrod bearing set Std
-Main bearing set Std
-Conversion set Ef-El
Timing kit chain, guides, new tensioner
welch plugs, brass.

Anyone wishing to contact me can send me an email at madmuso@optusnet.com.au
$800 as is, No RWC, rego until march 2013. I am located in Melbournes North. (Epping, Mill park, Lalor).

cheers guys,
