I have up for sale
2x SWR 1221 Alpine Type R Subs 1x MRD-605 Alpine Monoblock amp 1x CAP-1DR Cadence 1.2 Farad Cap All enclosed in a Custom carpeted box, including back dress pannel . View photos below to get a better understanding. The system is no longer in the car; i have included a few photos from when it was in the car and i have also taken a few today. Looking for $950 including; distribution block as visable in the photo with Digital Readout, 2xStinger 4g Ring connections for Cap, 2xStinger 8g 3way distribution block for subbox and one set of Stinger RCA's Prefer to sell as a whole; but willing to split if i have to. i used it to power both the type R's, i thought it had plenty of bass, and i only had it at a bit over half gain. Enough bass to make the rearvision mirror fall off continually. Enough bass to make your eyes wabble in the back seat. it depends on how much is enough and what type of music you listen to i guess

What are you after for the cap by itself? Also, what model was the box installed in?

Amp is rated at 600WATTS RMS @ 2 Ohm or 400WATTS RMS @ 4 Ohm Alpine Type R 1221 are a Dual 2 Ohm Sub Rated at 300watts RMS and 1000 watts Max So this set up would of been exactly perfect as the subs would be wired up at 2Ohm with the Amp pumping in 600watts RMS making 300watts RMS per SUB If you have the newer type R's being 1222d's they are rated at 500watts rms and 1500 watts max so this amp will be under powered Also if you have the Dual 4 ohm Alpine Type R's then this amp would have to be matched eg 1 amp per Sub Hope this helps

Box fits came from an EL, box fits snugly on the back shelf against the back of the seats. After $100 for the cap by its self |
