Hey guys. i'm selling my EL XR8. since i've owned this car i have done a lot of work to it, not much expense spared. The details:

Standard interior.
Fairly dark tint. on when i bought the car. no bubbles or tears
MOMO leather steering wheel, good nick, no tears
white LED instrument cluster
Double DIN dvd GPS touch screen head unit. plays virtually everything, comes with SD card music slot, USB, IPOD, AUX in. outputs for 2 screens. the rest of the stareo is standard.

Exterior:
Tickford Body kit
Colour Coded bonnet pretector
18 inch cobra replica wheels, all silver. front tyres 80%, rears new. 235/45/18 all round federal super steels
King Spring Super lows BOGE front short shocks, Monroe sprots latest generation rears
LED parker bulbs and HID headlights. (HID will be removed unless buyer wants them)

Brakes:
UPC front brake upgrade. 330mm front rotors. twin piston calipers, polished. QFM ultimate race pads + braided lines. The stopping power of this combo in unreal. never had brake fade even when pushing them. due to the offset change +28 front rims are AU+ offset and rears are E series offset.

Engine:
standard bottom end 5L. removed the motor for enhancements. new sump gasket, rear main welsch plugs ect
Crow 621371 cam with yella terra 1.72 roller rockers. 536thou lift intake and exhast
AFR 165 heads, shaved 10thou when bought 2nd hand from the states. Edelbrock RPM 2 Manifold
Billet lightweight Flywheel and new heavy duty clutch. Billet products Shifter
Polished 65mm T/b with EGR eliminated, EGR port blocked at manifold and EGR spacer Eliminated.
Billet alloy Fuel Rails with adjustable fuel pressure reg. walbro 255 fuel pump
24lb injectors, Pro-m maf 92mm with k&npod in ba XR8 airbox
MSD dizzy cap and rotor. MSD Coil. 9mm leads. 8 new irridium plugs
Difilippo 4-1 extractors hiflo metal core cats, twin 2.5 exhuast. fairly quiet to drive untill the foot is down. comes with 3.7:1 diff gears, nee to be fitted
This engine combo made 285RWHP untuned. all AFR's were checked on a dyno, and fuel pressure adjusted accordingly to give safe driving conditions and ideal WOT ratios.

The Bad bits. Clear has just started to lift on the front edge of the wing. 1 20c peice size of clear coming from the roof. 1 small scratch on the boot near the key hole, and the paint is begining to flake around the exhasut on the rear skirt.1 small ding on rhf quarter all the marks except for the exhaust paint were there when i bought the car.

The car has run 13.6 at willowbank raceway. never been on a track. only been to the drags once so far since the engine was done 6 months ago

thanks for the compliments guys. i should also mention that i still have all the original stuff, including the full exhaust, elgt extractors and explorer manifold. i intend to let all this go with the car if the buyer wants. also a set of half ported gt40p's off an au3 xr8. so there are plenty of spares and goodies that i havn't gotten around to selling myself. i'm moving house in just under 3 months so i'm hoping it sells and i can clean the shed out. i'm open to offers, pm me. the car is due for rego in 3 weeks, so i'll be paying 6 months then, but i will drop another 500 off if some1 wants it unregistered. it will come with RWC. cheers Al

I ended up stripping my EF XR8 with a 347 stroker AFR185cc head with C4, 19z and got back 15k and would be suprised if this sold for money he was asking. I guess maybe people dont want something as serious as mine was or just bad timing for sale.........

sadly yes the car is sold. i wish i had of kept it, but now i'm in my own home so it was the right decision. i did end up getting 15 for it, - 2 tyres and qld rego so i was happy. as for the tint i'm not sure, was on it when i bought it. wasn't that dark from inside the car, so i would say darkest legal. will do another car up 1 day when i have money, probly in 30 years after the house is payed off. i'm thinking an AU v8 ute, want to stick with the windsors.
