1992 6cyl Manual EBII Fairmont.

Non Stock Mods:
- 5spd T5 Manual
- Twin thermo fans
- Imobiliser/Alarm
- Pioneer Mp3/Cd player and speaker system
- Speedy 18inch rims
- Lowered suspension
- Tinted Windows

KMs: 275,000
Colour: Peac0ck (green)
Others: Full respray 4 years ago in the factory colour.

Pretty decent car. Oil has been changed every 5,000km's since I've owned it (200,000kms). Engine has been reliable and have only had to change the supplementary systems as they have aged; fuel pump, water pump, alternator, etc.

Hi Tim,

$4500, forgot to add that. Oops.

It's the only T5 I've driven and I guess one word to describe it would be 'raw'. It doesn't really fit the luxury profile image of the Fairmont badge. Having driven it for 6 years I'm sort of immune to the gearbox quirks but friends that try comment that the clutch feels heavy - though not much difference than the T56 in the BA - and it's difficult to get into 3rd. Probably because it doesn't center to Neutral that well between shifts so you need to 'know' where 3rd is. I remember I had a bit of trouble when i first started but muscle memory takes over after a few weeks. Not really a great box for a beginner though.
