Hey guys,
I've got a complete unassembled megasquirt kit here than I need to get rid of. I bought it ages ago because someone wanted me to build it for them but they then pulled out and left me stuck with it. I was going to use it myself in my EF but now that I have a BA there's no point with the CAPA edit.

A few members here have fitted them to their falcons with decent results. They're the cheapest aftermarket ECU around and are good fun to tune yourself with the free software available on the net.

The stimulator kit I made myself and have tested it working 100% (used it to test Waggins MS) the main megasquirt unit comes in kit form with all components, PCB and CNC machined aluminium case. It's a MS I kit but can be upgraded to MSII simply by plugging in the MSII processor/board instead of the supplied MS I processor

Complete kit costs $140 + $70 for the assembled stimulator + around 30 shipping (all USD)- all up $280 AU if you were to buy it tomorrow from glens garage.

I'm chasing $180 to try and recover a few bucks.

Kit is brand new with all components still sealed in individual bags

Cheers

MS1, thats just a pic I got off the net. I can take pics of my actual bits if you like but it's actually still packed up in the original box. I think its a V 2.2

The MS as a base kit has a number of features but you can also easily add on and code other options.

Spend a few hours checking out everything it can do at the below link and you'll be knocking down my door to take this kit :P

http://www.megamanual.com/

Assembly is very easy, it's a terrific kit and every component is individually bagged and labelled to make assembly a breeze. It is a bit time consuming, but if you can put together your average d**k or jaycar kit you could put together one of these.

Here's the info on assembly from the MS site.
http://www.megamanual.com/v22manual/mass.htm

There's a metric assload of info available on the megasquirt site and there's also a large MS forum which has it's own Australian section for people discussion mods, applications in our local cars etc.

EDIT:

I also have an old laptop (toshiba P2 I think) suitable for tuning that I can sell with it for the right price. I haven't used it in a year so I'll have to try and find the charger. The battery doesn't last long but you can run it off a cig lighter plug while you're in the car anyway.

Simon, I've had a few other people express interest too so I'll give it a few days and see how I go.

The first one in with $180 gets it, otherwise if that falls through I'll consider your offer.

Cheers

Jay
