These MONROE GAS have only done approx 1000 easy k's. $60
Rear pair to suit ea-el. EC Listed to suit std and lwd, but I had to fit pedders shortened shocks for rwc on my fairmont because of short pedders springs.

Phongus these shocks are in excellent ocndition but they did not trap my pedders low springs. Monroe list these shocks for both std and lwd but I think that your super lows would not be trapped(rw).

Hey chOcO, These shocks are probably firmer than the pedders comfort which I replaced them with.

sorry im a bit new to the springs and shocks thing.....whats trap mean? If it gives me a good ride. Roadworthy will not break my balls and it will not bottom out.......then i might be on that.

cheers

Hey Phongus, Lowered springs are usually shorter than standard. This means that they actually need a shorter shocker. With a standard length shocker a shortened spring is not long enough to firmly hold the spring in place at full extension and the springs can try to escape the lower bucket. Often the only time this is noticable is when the car is jacked up by the body, the springs will be loose because they are too short for the maximum length of the shockers.

Hope this explains what I mean by the springs being trapped.

Hey mate, just wondering if the shorter shocks improved the ride and did it affect the height in the rear? I have superlows and have been meaning to get shorter shocks for the rear but never got around to it... How much were the Pedders gear?
