Gearbox and clutch is good, Pedal Box needs some work. Options for Mal Wood Clutch pin (20 mins to put a clutch pedal in !), ED Manual ECU

hi mate,

i got a couple of questions for you.

is it out of a factory manual ED? (basically is it an EA/EB1 or EB2 on box?)
How many kays has it done?
Is there any noise from the box in any gear? Worn synchros etc.
Do you have the dust excluder? (little black plastic box which goes around the end of the clutch cable) I know ebay says what you can see in picture, but its on a funny angle!
and most importantly... would you be willing to freight it... i pay freight charges obviously

cheers mate,
Nic

Let me know if the clutch pin kit, and leather gear boot dont sell with the gearbox. I am after both these items.

Its out of an ED - I have the ECU (3DAC). However, I cant tell you much more. I bought it from Newcastle. It was advertised on here previously.

Im told the box was in great nick however both the Firewall and Pedal Box gave trouble. The owner tried to Weld the firewall, and set fire to the car (hence no clutch cable).

The plastic cover is missing, as is the inspection plate and clutch cable. It also needs the 6 clutch plate bolts. The Fork is there and also the Release bearing.

If you can tell me which part number you need, I can go and look and confirm that it is the later model box. At this point I believe it was original. It also has the 6 bolt flywheel (EBII on only)

As for shipping : Im happy for it to go anywhere - I can deliver somewhere not too far from me here, however I am not able to paletize it or anything.

Cheers

is that pinkbit8u's one he had for sale a little while back?

I do have on question, what is the inspection plate? i've never heard of that before. do you mean the rubber boot which goes on the floor inside the car?

i'm keen, i'll look into some freight tomorrow. have a look yourself too if your keen. my postcode is 4811 (or 4810 if i can pick up from depot)

Yes - thats the gearbox.

You know, perhaps you should look at a removalist backloading? - Get a Palet of stuff sorted out or something?
