I just bought an EL Fairmont Ghia today for wrecking. Front end LH side stack, so no bonnet, windscreen, LH Guard or front bumper. Woodgrain t bar panel and leather shifter were pinched on it, and so were cruise control buttons, both airbags delpoyed, engine may not run as throttle body is snapped. Will post more pics tomorrow, just got one shot from the front for now.

Now for the rules:

1. Cash buyers have first pick
2. No buying of little bits - ie, you buy one handle, you buy all four.
3. Car is in Cheltenham, you must be willing to travel.
4. You want the diff, you must take the whole rolling car.

Thanks everyone, and good luck.

PS no pics - got this stupid message (Sorry, you have reached your maximum Upload Quota Limit of 5 MB)

hey cam

im sorta interested in lookin for a new motor, i saw the pics on fowles if thats the blue ghia you bought today.

im interested im just concerend about the condition of the head, in the pictures it looks like the thermostat has taken a nasty blow which may affect trying to get a new one on as the heads are only soft alloy.

Image

that is the car above is the one you bought im only assuming

also

is the motor a hybrid or was it a jan 98 build?

Thanks

Tim :P

Engine and transmission has been cut to $900 due to damaged thermostat. Make offers peoples, only rubbery figures @ this stage, will know until next daylight.
