No deals on cheap LCDs Macca, I'll keep my eye out though!

Guys, these cameras aren't marketed exclusively as reversing cameras thus aren't mirrored

twason, postage to the ACT will be the same as quoted above - 5.30 prepaid australia post 500g satchel (surely they wouldn't weigh any more than that)

I'll PM bank details to everyone shortly

Huggie, you don't need the adaptors because you'll be cutting and soldering longer wiring onto the camera anyway. If you use a 9v battery in the car it'll have to be mounted where ever the camera is and you'll still have to run signal wires back to your screen. Aside from that, you'd need a switch to turn it on and off (even if its just wired to the ignition), they'll end up with a shorter life if powered up 24/7.

The cameras don't come with the 9v adaptor, that's just something that ebay seller is including with it. ( I just posted that link as a reference) If you really want one it'd take 2 minutes to solder one up - just buy a 9v battery connector and plug from DSE or jaycar.

Current list stands at 25.

You want it to record to a memory stick as well for $20 ?? How about it also cures cancer

It's just the camera, it has stardard AV outputs for connecting to a TV, video or anything that has AV inputs. I had the one in my old car connected up to my indash screen and also my camcamcorder so I could record the video.

You can see the result in my bathurst vid from last year.

http://www.coresworld.net/hyena/FM-bathurst.wmv (32 meg)

most of the footage with music dubbed over it is from this camera. Its shakey because at the time it was only taped to the front grill!

The output of the cameras can go into any video capture device, a device with av inputs etc. I plan on having mine go to my car computer through a capture card, I can then record and view it on my lcd....when I get it all up and running!

$5.30 the pair?
Also I can show you how to reduce 12v to 9v with two electronic components if you like.
