Hey guys,
Through a supplier at work I'm able to get mini / spy CMOS cameras for $20 each for an order of 10+ These are the same as the one I had fitted in my old EF which some of the NSW guys would have seen at the previous bathurst cruise. I paid $40 for that one so this is alot cheaper. At $20 ea these are even cheaper than ebay! They're the same as these: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Surveillance-Spy ... dZViewItem 
I'm going to get 2, one for the front and rear of the car - any interest in making up the other 8 ?

Cool, I didn't think I'd make the 10 in just a few hours!
I'll give it a few more days so others who are interested can get them at this price too and then I'll order them. I can post them out to those who can't pick them up in Sydney, it'll be $5.30 in a prepaid 500g satchel I'm guessing.

Twisted EL, they run off 6-12v
I ran mine straight to the car power (ie often a bit over 12v) and it was fine but you might like to put a small resistor in the line if you're worried. Connection wise if you look carefully at the picture you'll see that the red plug is actually a male connector - it's the power - the yellow is video and the white the sound. I didnt bother hooking up the sound for mine because it'll distort in the wind from the front and be pointless at the back. If you're using them for other purposes though (eg home security etc) then it'd be useful. When I wired mine up I cut the plugs off and soldered straight to those wires - you'll need to run a fair length of power and signal wire anyway from the camera back to your dash. OK here's the list, add your name if you want one or more.
