not sure what model intake this is off.. certainly not ef as it doesnt have the part on the back where the hose from the map sensor plugs into the back of the intake.. EL or AU?? as you can see ive spent heaps of hours doing my "home job polishing to it"... im looking at offloading it...

$50.00 and its yours...

yeah, cast aluminium is a b**ch to polish,, not cos of it being hard (its easy) -its the aluminium dust that get on everything and everywhere.. such a big mess night after night.. i must of spent atleast 10 hours... doing the polishing...

that is so worthwhile, for anyone considering polishing thier own manifold dont bother, it will take longer than $50 of your time plus with this one its already done and your car wont be out of action for long

The EL has the casting on the top with 2 bolt holes for the air intake to bolt onto, that doesn't have it, do the AU manifolds have it?
The EF doesn't.

well i did hack off two threads that sat on top of two snails side by side figuring that they just helped hold the intake in place.. i lopped them off to give a smoother look along with lopping off the "spike" thing behind where the throttle body is mounted... again for a cleaner look... yeah, $50... definatly wouldnt do it again for $50.. :lol: works out at about $4.00 an hour... -slave labour... not too mention.. coughing and tasting aluminium dust... :? :lol: :shock:
