After a lot of umming and ahhing we have decided not to bother converting the EL to a 5.0. With the amount of hours me and my better half work the time to do it simply isnt there and we cant really take the car off the road for a couple of weeks to do it.

We will be selling the Fairmont in a few months and buying a 5.0 one.
So that leaves me with the conversion I bought here doing nothing.
The 5.0 has about 330000kms and ran fine. It did have a bit of a rattle at start up but no other problems. I had the intention of rebuilding it but dont see any reason why with a good tune it wont run fine.

The auto and diff both drive fine. No problems that I could report there. I did only drive it around the block but it all seemed ok

It is all in a EB Series 1 Fairmont Ghia shell. Bascially I bought an entire car and parted it out. It still has mags , doors , guards , power mirrors etc. It steers but has no brakes.

I want $500 ono for the lot. Bring a tow truck and take the remains of the car with all the driveline bolted into it.

If you want me to remove the motor , box and diff it will be about $900 for everything. Basically take the lot away and save some ca$h.

The car is located in Penrith Western Sydney. If you have any questions you can also ring me on 0405456879.
Matt

Yes it does have the exhaust. It run fine when I got it. I have pulled the radiator out and used the airbox to throttle body hose.
I have no reason to believe it wont still run just it will be a bit rough due to the air flow metre being disconnected.
It is still in the car.

Roof lining is all drooped someone has tried to staple it in the past.
The body is very straight but is missing the lights except the drivers headlight , bonnet and bootlid.
Ill get current pics of it tomorrow when its light.
Ill have a look thru and see if I can find the pics from when I got it a couple of months ago. It is the same condition but stripped.
