Impact and a single-hex 9/16 should've got em off.. I didn't use impact on a EB motor, and yer, I sheared the actual bolt head off

Rofl even with the right tools I rounded those suckers like they were butter

i know what u mean.. tried to get a head off yesterday.. rounded 2 of my sockets. and rounded 1 bolt.

gonna pull the rocker gear off and get the angle grinder on them.

theyre useless anyhow coz whenever u change the head or whatever u need to use new bolts.

Yeah mate you might wanna inspect that cut I mentioned.

On the plus side this one came out after the seats & dash so it is not cracked whatsoever

Can you send me a pic of the cut please

Ok so the engine has been sold and is being removed shortly. Once that is done the rolling chassis and everything still attached is up for grabs. If no one wants it then it will go to the scrap yard.

We have:
4x 15" wheels w/ hubcaps. Flat spare in the boot.
Diff (and drive shaft in the boot)
Boot lid if not sold earlier
Suspension is untouched
Brakes are untouched except the wiring loom for the ABS is gone.
Steering system is complete except for steering wheel (which is there but more than a little bent) and P/S pump.
Rear bumper
3 doors are probably usable, 1 is not (rear passenger)
Heater box is still there
The fuel pump is there but I suspect it is RS.. there is a few litres of fuel in the tank
Parcel shelf is there, so are the rear speakers.

Make an offer, whoever buys it needs to organise transport. I'll take some pictures if anyone seriously is interested.

Cheers

I'm guessing it's a 3.08 but how do you check for sure? Is it stamped on the diff somewhere?

It was an auto.

The engine is out. If there is no interest from members for the chassis then I'll ditch it.

The following are out of the car and still available:

All seats w/rear headrests & bolsters - $150ono

2 front electric window door trims & 2 rear manual window trims - $80ono the lot. The front trims are missing the plugs that go in the arm rests.

Dual airbag dashboard & passenger airbag - $160ono

Dashboard switches - $10 ea (these can be posted for another $5). This includes boot & fuel door release etc.

Heater & A/C control panel - $25ono

Centre Console - $50ono

EL Futura BEM w/keyfob - $50ono (+post if needed)

Most if not all the trim plastics are available - starting from $10

Fuel door - galaxy blue $20ono

Passenger side mirror - galaxy blue $30ono

How soon do you want to get rid of the chassis (also assume you want to get rid of the EF chassis at the same time?)?

haha early march... three months away..

nup, didn't think you'd like the sound of that. oh well, if in the unlikely event that its still there in early march i'll grab it. i think i'll get a complete wreck though.

Have you seen the EF XR6 wagon at pickles tomorrow? I reckon it'd go for cheap, front ends still intact too, wouldn't mind knowing how much it goes for too.. but you might have your eyes on that one already :p
