I thought hub adapters arent illegal but spacers are.

I could be wrong but hub adapters actually bolt onto the hub with new bolts and everything where as spacers just slide over the old ones pushing the rim closer to the edge.

Hub adapters are illegal unless you have an engineers certificate for them.

In WA hub adaptors are illegal. I thought it was the same all over oz, but I could be seriously wrong there.

Ian diffen, bob jane and some other tyre mob have brochures with 17" tyre and wheel packages for $1099 fitted, 18" for $1399, 19" for $1999. Heaps of different rims to choose from. It's gonna be hard selling those rims with shagged tyres for $2k.

completly different kettle of fish - crappy rims & tyres for $1100 aren't anywhere near a set of simmons!

Kilma, i managed to get mine off a guy with an XE, so they are pre AU offset, so i dont need adaptors, etc. :)
Yeah the rims at Bob Jane cost like $400 for a 19" rim, if you nmeed a spare one, or replacement (My mate has some on his Stato)
Try $900 for Simmons.
