daniel, mate of mine whos into the whole sword kung fu mumbo jumbo stuff, told me its very illegal to have these in victoria, unless you have a license (or something like that)

Are you talking about using them for ORNAMENTAL purposes or for running down the street trying to slash people?! If they are REALLY that sharp, ill buy ornamental ones as thats all id would want them for, not that the cops have ever come into my house nor would they to look for weapons! I know i go crazy at ppl sometime but i dont do that sort of stuff my chunky friend. Can anyone expand on this, is it illegal for ALL samurai'/katana' in victoria now even if only for show????????
