Price: 100.00 Type: Part Condition: New Description: Brand new in box unused NOKIA LD-3W Bluetooth GPS Reciever, got it with my Nokia N73, but I don't have the software or need for it. In the box is the unit, manual, car power charger and battery. As far as I am aware it is universal, so is not only compatiable with Nokia phones, but with any bluetooth phones, PDA's, computers, laptops, etc. RRP on these is $161.50.

It's from a Capa supercharger kit, only reason I'm not using it is I want a shiny silver unit in the engine bay rather. Basically they are stickers that stick on your dash there carbon fibre colouring/styling. Included in the kit is: The air vents - both sides of the dash. The clock. It's road legal and registered, but I have no licence and no interest in riding on the road, aswell as it's just in far too good a condition for me to thrash it in the bush. I'm selling in the hope of finding a 2 stroke old s**t (so if you've got one and wanna trade with cash to make the difference, let me know), and spending the remainder of the money on my car. Anyways, back to the bike: 2000 model Honda XR250R, the Enduro model. Road worthy and still currently registered in Tasmania till early next year. Minor 8,600km's traveled by the bike on the odometer. Honda One Industries sticker kit and matching seat. O, and it's had something done to the exhaust, sounds very tough! 6 speed manual gearbox. 249cc (250) engine. Japanese made. Kickstart - very easy to start once you learn how to kickstart it - took me a while lol! Reusable high flowing red/blue foam air filter. KYB Honda rear shock setup. Somebody asked me about the front shocks and there seals, there fine, no damage, no leaks. Honda chain lube applied weekly. I've always run it on Premium Unleaded. I oridinally purchased this off a good friend of mine who looked after it very well (he only ever went in the bush with it twice and was riding it to work, a distance of about 5kms). Had new tyres (Michaline, the largest knobbies you can get before there illegal, DOT approved) fitted just before I got it (about 500km's ago) - so still plenty of tread! In the last 100km's over the last few weeks I've done the following to help sprice it up for the sale: Brand new handle bar pad - red Honda FX Racing ($25.00). Brand new Metal Gear front disc brake pads ($47.00), aswell as flushing and replacing the brake fluid with Penrite Sin. Brand New Harris 'XR' grips ($32.95 at Horizion Motorcyclers). Brand New NGK Iridium IX CR9EHIX-9 sprak plug ($25.00 at a motorbike store). Brand new left side mirror ($25.00). Replaced the kick start knuck ('Joint, kick arm') with a new Genuine Honda one as there was a crack ($34.80 at Horizon Motorcycles - Honda Dealer). This box uses a very large filter having an area of no less than 510 square cm. The inlet to the box is in the lower half, with this duct having a diameter of 80mm. The outlet duct has a moulded-in plastic bellmouth but its outlet ID is only 58mm. However, the outlet assembly unbolts from the airbox revealing that the actual outlet hole can be as much as 80mm in diameter! The lid clips to the base that is heavily curved to match the inner wheel arch area. The box is 380 x 280 x 310mm and costs $58 for the lid and $65 for the tray (new prices from Ford). Clips are used to hold the box together. The large size of the filter meant that this box flowed quite well, with a filtered cfm rating of 93. However, it's interesting to note that fitting the filter caused a substantial flow drop of 17 per cent. Flow of box with filter: 93 cfm Conclusion: Amongst the better airboxes for flow, but see below for how to make a dramatic improvement! Ford EF Falcon This box uses the same lower half as the AU Falcon box mentioned above, however the EF lid has a much better integrated exit duct. This duct starts with a well-designed 50mm bellmouth deep inside the lid that grows in diameter to 80mm as it leaves the box. In the photo above, the EF upper half is on the left and the AU on the right. The filter used is the same as the AU, with a 510 square cm area. The box is 380 x 280 x 310mm and the EF lid costs $64 from Ford. This is a much better flowing design than the AU box. The flow with the filter fitted was 110 cfm, up over the AU box by a very substantial 18 per cent! Even more importantly, the filter caused only a 3 per cent flow decrease, rather than the 17 per cent decrease that occurred when the same filter was fitted to the AU box. This is probably because the outlet duct draws from the centre of the filter rather than one end of the box, in addition to its bigger final diameter. It would therefore appear that swapping an EF lid onto your brand new AU Falcon can improve box airflow by 18 per cent! Flow of box with filter: 110 cfm Conclusion: The second-best flowing airbox after the de-snorkled VS Commodore. However, at $24.50 (Ryco), the filters are not as cheap as those for the Holden boxes. 
It's obviously the one on the left in the picture showing the difference of the two, you can see the funnel thing in it. Reason for sale is that I have no use for it, there's a supercharger in the way. 
Item: NGK Iridium spark pl for 4.0L I6 Tickford or LPG Price: what ever it costs for a set of new standard plugs - $30ish. Type: Part. Condition: Used. Description: Have a set of NGK Iridium spark plugs, BPR6EIX-11, they are to suit a 4.0L I6 SOHC iether Tickford/XR6 or LPG. Check at http://www.ngk.com.au to see if they suit your car. They've done 10,000kms according to the NGK website, Iridium plugs last up to 160,000kms, so lotsa life left in them. They've been installed with Loctite Anti-Seize on the threads and have spent most of there life sitting in the engine doing nothing for the last year. Reason for sale is that there no good now that the car is Supercharged, have to run different plugs according to Capa.
