Item: 12ft Fibrglass boat, 25HP Evinrude and trailer
Price: $1,500.00
Condition: Used

Description: I purchased a new bigger boat, so the old one needs to go as running out of room.

It's a 3.9m/12ft 1982 Pleasure Craft 380 model. Maxium power - 18KW, Maximum Persons 300kg, Maximum Capacity 370kg. Fibreglass body. A few marks on it from use, nothing major at all. Registered for the rest of this year. Registered for up to 4 people. Back board was replaced not long ago with new marine ply. Also, all bolts, nuts, washers and screws have been replaced with 316 stainless steel from Nuts and Bolts Tasmania. New bung fitted.
Fitted is an Evinrude A389019 25HP 2 cylinder 2 stroke outboard motor - unsure of the year of manufacture, but the dealer or a web search can tell you. Is fitted with a hydrofoil. Motor works fine, hasn't been run for quite a while, but when I started it the other day it started first pull! Has new NGK spark plugs fitted. Only problem with it is the stop button doesn't work (the button is fine - it's actually the control box - a replacement unit is $400.00), all this means is that you pull the choke out to stall the motor or cut the fuel when you need/want to stop it.
All this is carried on a Brooker (http://www.brookermarine.com.au/aboutus.htm) trailer. A while ago this trailer was striped back, cleaned and repainted in Cold Gal – during this the leaf springs were replaced with brand new Trojan 260003 Multi-Leaf Slipper Springs – 3 leafs with a 650kg carrying capacity (http://www.trojanparts.com.au/index.asp?pageID=2145829329), also when rebuilding the trailer all bolts, nuts and washers were replaced with brand new 316 stainless steel units from Nuts and Bolts Tasmania. Trailer is fitted with a coupling (takes a standard size tow ball – 51mm I think) and safety chain – there is a brand new MasterLock 377DAT Coupler Lock (http://www.masterlock.com/cgi-bin/product_detail.pl?top_id=B85&sub_cat_id=D377A&template=app). Has an adjustable removable jockey wheel with solid rubber wheel. Has a brand new Trojan 535080 Spare Wheel Mount and padlock (http://www.trojanparts.com.au/index.asp?pageID=2145829620)(but I don't have a spare wheel for it). Wheel bearings and marine seals were replaced 350km's ago (they are Holden bearings if I remember correctly) – they have bearing protectors fitted on them. Wheels are 4 stud mini wheels, tyres are old, but have plenty of tread left. Has a handmade winch, very well balanced, and has a self lubricating system – strap not wire. There are also high posts for fixed tail lamps, so they won’t get wet when launching and don’t have to be taken on and off all the time – fitted with Narva 86470 Rear Stop/Tail and Direction Indicator Combination Lamp, the lenses were recently replaced with brand new Narva 86475 lenses(http://www.narva.com.au/Truck-Trailer_11.html). I think there may be an electrical gremlin in the light wiring as the brake light was flashing with the indicator the other day. Has 2 Motorgaurd straps to hold the boat down when traveling.
Includes some spares - the old leaf springs (the bottom leaf on each is cracked), spare strap winch and half an anchor.
Also included, but not pictured it a Scepter 25L fuel tank (http://www.sceptermarine.com/), extra long fuel hose with hand pump (long enough to mount the fuel tank up the front), the centre seat stash hole lid, extender for the outboar (so you can sit further forward and still control it), and 2 x wooden oars.
I’ve spent over a grand in the last 12 months on this, just wanting some money back.

$1,500.00 ono - I'd be interested in a trade for a box trailer large enough to fit two trail dirt bikes in and cash.

As I said above, it's not the actual stop button itself that is broken, it's a black box at the back of the motor (some sort of module). I may have sourced a replacement now. Here's a photo:

And some other random photos of the motor:

Also, I forgot to mention above that I have some wiring diagrams for the motor too (which were used when finding the fault of the stop button).
