As you can all see the pipe is finnished and fitted.

currently i can only garrenty that it will fit the EF. the intake as fitted to my car WILL NOT FIT AN AU due to bonnet clearence issues that can only be fixed by useing an tighter bend off the TB, I'm looking into it but can't find one at a reasonable price yet.

fittment to an EL suffers bonnet clearence do to the bosses that the factory pipe bolts too. here you have three options

option one. remove the boss and use the pipe as is

option two. dent the pipe to clear the boss on the manifold. i dont want to do this as it would look a little ugly.

option three hold off the group buy untill i find a tigher bend fo use at a reasonable cost.

the one in the pics is a prototype only, to check clearence and position.

the produtcion one will be slightly different. the 180degree bend will be one peice and as a few people have asked i will shorten the lead up to the TB to bring the back od the pipe a bit further away from the exhaust.
though there is only enough room to take out about 2.5cm at the most

the final price is $210 plus postage. where i can i will bulk post to save a few $$$$
I will hold this open until june 20, that should give every one time to get the money together.
please PM me with orders....

sorry to the AU guys, i am still looking and will keep you updated as to what i can find. BUT damn your bonnet.

s**t, that is some nice smooth flowing bends there dude. I've seen some bad transition joints by other exhuast guys, its bad due to the fact its got sharp bends on them.

nice work!

ok guys i have finaly had the time to dummy up the pipe work.

i'm just waiting for voxace to come online and i'll have pics of the dummy setup. when they are up i'll explain the details.

on a down note thought, i've had to find a new supplyer for all my stainless and the price is a little higher for me.

so i've had to put the price up from the original $190 up to $210

Oh well, not a massive price increase so i'm still interested. Would that include postage btw?

postage is a important factor, maybe if all the perth guys who want one can register interest when their ready to be made and see if we can save on postage a bit.

few questions:

first of all, it looks very good. however, is it possible to make the 180 a smidgen shorter? so it just misses going over th eedge of the rocker cover and away from extractors, unless it does already and cant see from pics.

2nd, is there any reason to use the rubber bend for the 90 degree? would the roughness not ad some extra turbulance? purly for ease of transport or some other reason?

Im keen on this, depending on postage, count me in

Gaz, Id imagine the rubber join is to allow for engine movement, especially if solid mounted to the engine bay. Speaking of which, will these retain the standard mounting point?
