I just don't understand how a P-plater working at Coles can afford an EL GT.. I'd imagine a P-plater working at Coles driving something more along the lines of a KB Laser.

It's pretty simple.. some people take out car loans.. and live with their parents.. so all their wages go towards the car loan repayments..

I would suggest this one is more likely the case, as even if you have a big car loan, insurance on a car like that for a P plater will not be cheap, so you will have to come up with the $$$ somewhere.

I tried to get a EL GT last year. Didn't work out. An immaculate burgundy manual GT, with only 30,000K's ended up going for more than $50K. Oh well.
