Car has been built to the highest standard, and the presentation of the vehicle cannot be flawed. The paint work is a custom mix blue/turquoise and has absolutely no blemishes (also comes with spare bonnet painted the same colour without the scoop[for a stealth look ]). Interior boasts CD player with 2x10 inch subs, 10,000 RPM autometer tach with shift light, sports steering wheel and a hurst ratchet shifter.

The heart of it all is a 351 Clevland with 4V heads, bored to 30 thou with chrome molly valves, motorsport cam and 4MAB crankshaft. Sitting ontop of all that is an edelbrock torquer manifold with a Barry Grant 650 cfm double pumper carby. A holley high volume mechanical fuel pump supplies the juice, and the fuel lines to the carby are braided. All wires in engine bay have been hidden.

All that runs through a FMX with 3000 rpm stally, through to a disk braked ford 9 inch with 4.11 gears. The wheels are imported polished cragar alloys.

This car has always been garaged for 4 years, never driven but meticulously maintained. No expense spared at all!!

Has he got an original intake with Thermoquad, EGR plate etc to go on it?
Impossible to get a RWC without it unless you know a bodge bloke lol.
That's a nice XD though, man everytime i see a nice one it makes me want mine back on the road so bad.

I bought it before you were born, been off the road for about 6 years.
Engine done a piston so i ripped it out and left it... One of these days it'll go back on the road, had it almost 17 years so i'm in no hurry.

Mine was nice, body is still good, i'd love to get it back up and get it looking as good as the one above.

Good XD's like this one are hard to find these days, in time they'll become a classic.

My old man has an 81 XD that he bought new, absolutly fantastic car, its just such a shame to see it sit in the shed and never move.

Yea my old man had a red XE but he sold that in i think "95" to buy a bike
