hi guys
im posting this up to see if there is any interest in a skid pan day at eastern creek raceway.
it has not been put forward to cruise section yet due to the cost and numbers required..

if the numbers are not there there is no point going ahead with it..
to keep things at a reasonable cost i think we need aproxx 20 cars..
the more cars that participate the cheaper the cost..

now.. the nitty gritty..
to hire the skid pan at eastern creek for the day there is a total cost of $3150.
This price includes:·Venue hire ·Instructors, Public liability insurance and All necessary equipment.
and if this goes ahead payment will be required up front and before the booking is confirmed..
so basically 10 cars will be a cost of $315 each...
20 cars will cost $157.50 each...
here is the company running the events.. http://www.drivingsolutions.com.au
post up if your interested..

EDITED....
due to the prices i have added a few venue options we can vote on..
well we can also go to rick bates driver training at canberra for $143 each.
http://www.batesadvanceddriving.com/skidpan.html

there is marulan driver training curcuit at marulan nsw for $130 each
http://www.mdtc.com.au/packages/index.html

and wakfield park raceway track day(near goulburn nsw)
o Drive your own street car $110.00 per weekday and $140.00 per weekend day Australian Autosport Alliance licence $50.00 (annually)
http://wakefieldpark.com.au/index.php?o ... &Itemid=42

submit your vote and we will go from there...

eastern creek track days are currently $300 per car...

wakefield park would be a better choice for a track day,
and it appears wakefield dont have a skid pan....

Yeah I checked up on it too and wakefield dont have a pan unfortunately.
If you dont get a huge responce from here cause people wont spend any money............ maybe open it up to a couple of other Ford orientated Forums. That way we get enough number to run it without it costing a mint and it gets the Ford Mods name out a bit more , and we might gain some fresh members too.
Could be a win win.
