i can't believe the amount of people on this forum who carry on like the ba/f xr8 is slow.

by half a car do you mean you were beside his tray or half a car gap between his rear and your front.

if you go by magazine times they can be anywhere from 13.99 - 14.8 (xr8 ute did a 14.8) most sedans are around the 14.3. the latest ve ss v did a 14.0 or 13.9. less than half a second over the 1/4 is not a thrashing in my book.

a workmate of mine has a ba xr8 and with only exhaust and extractors had a healthy 225rwkw. obviously all dyno's vary but his mates got there cars done on the same day. auto xr6t - 205rwkw and monaro with ls1edit - 245rwkw. he's since upgraded intake with a secondary snorkle and the power pipe to t/b and also has generic flash tune. for the dollars spent this is a very quick car.

ba/f xr8's are not the slugs they get made out to be.

This is how to upload pictures (hopefully an easy guide)

Notes:
-Click on the pictures and they will expand in a new window (only if they are that big, most are)
-You can't upload BMP files, they are too large, and aren't allowed
-There is a limit of about 5 per post, to post more, make another post.

Hope it is helpful.
