I'm just not sure what to do, I dont think I'm making enough power to worry about slicks but I cant get lower than a 2.1 60ft.

currently running:
manual
3.45 lsd
225/50/16 tyres let down to 20psi
slightly lower and stiffer than xr spec springs
pedders gsr shocks

not really getting to much wheelspin off the line, but it doesnt jump off the line either

More revs, ride the clutch a little. A little wheelspin whill help, as long as it is not blazing tyres.

My 60's were crap as well.
I think the only option with mine is to go to a 2500-3000 stally.

Slip the clutch at the point of peak torque. Also, run some more tyre pressure on street tyres. I have cut a 1.9 on 235/45 17's with 40psi in them. It's the only way to get off the line quick. Too much slip and you get a slow launch, not enough and you just bag them up.

funny you say that I've been going over the slips from yesterday, first three runs I did at 38psi were all 2.1 60's but then I let them down to 20psi and didnt get below 2.25 for my other 5 runs so you might be onto something there.

drop the diff ratio to the 4s and more revs-we ran a 3.89 lsd on stock street tyres, good steel belts,no pressure change and a daily driver

Without costing too much coin, get some semi slicks. To dpend a bit more, stally and a ratio change, 4.11's will fit nice and work well with your slush-O-matic box.

Yeah sorry bout that, it was more dirrected at Matt, For yourself, as Troyman suggests, 3.7's will wake it up with some sticky tyres.
