with the undertaker its very complicated. the edge and vicki geurra got engaged and vicki guerra banished the undertaker from the entire wwe (this is just part of the story). on the edge and vicki's wedding day tripple H came out and played a video where the edge and that dark chick announcer (i think thats what she does) starts kissing and stuff. vicki was really p****d off and brought back the undertaker and punishment to the edge and so they had that fight in hell in a cage at summerslam.

this is very basic explanation. when the edge and vicki were together the edge cost the undertaker so many victories by cheating and getting involved.

with shaun michaels no one really knows what is going to happen. he had that fight with chris jerico where jerico attacked shaun's eye and severly damaged it. the doctors told shaun he shouldnt wrestle anymore.
so shaun and his wife come out in the ring and is announcing his retirement when chris jerico comes out and demands that shaun tells the world he is retireing cos of jerico. shaun tells chris that he will never be shaun and chris jerico takes a swing at shaun. he misses and hits shauns wife.
so shaun comes out, i dont think i watched this episode, and was obviously p****d off and so he orgainsed an unsanctioned match with jerico at unforgiven. i have no idea what an unsanctioned match is though.

Gotta love the epic drama of sports entertainment!
