Yeah im fair sure there is, they have done the tests on everything else

Most of the big name companies do high flow filters in there kits, so I'm guessing that they probably have done some testing...

Either that or they're just chucking it in with a bit of a mark up on the kit cause the brand names make them seem "better"...

Either way, I don't see it doing any harm, it's a reuseable filter so means you won't have to replace it in the future. Even if it doesn't give you any benefit, it's unlikely to do the oposite (restrict power).

I put a k & n in my xr6t, made pretty much s**t all difference. BUt still worth while, alot better for your motor.

technically, no, the people most concerned with keeping dirt out of your engine, is the people who have to put 3ys or 100000km warranty on it, what does K&N care about whether your motor dies...???

the paper element is restrictive because it is doing its job well, which is to filter the incoming air of all dirt

i have a k&n filter on my ba turbo and it made big difference
my car is stock apart from that and it dynoed at 205kw at the wheels

i got a k&n on my xr6 turbo it didnt make a big difference its only a lil difference and the blow is just louder no big difference no much

Kand N shouldnt let any dirt through if your treating it correct, after its wash it SHOULD besprayed with a contact spray 30bux a bottle i thin, k&n brand. cathces the dust and stuff.

Conytact spray? I think it's just oil. Price will also depend on the size of the bottle, comes in a few different sizes.

yeh lol, wat ever it is. ive been told to use it and at that price (600ml i think) its cheap enough. cant do anyharm though.
