Looking at possibly getting one for my AU

just wondering if anyone has had experience with them?

http://www.raptorsc.com.au/index.php

Not much info on their page, but there is some info on this page about them:

http://www.928motorsports.com/parts/rap ... argers.php

Raptor V is only 750cfm :\

Adiabatic efficiency is around 75% which seems good

Has anyone actually got one or know of someone who has one?

Theres a project car on StreetCommodores that used one of those Raptors. Check out the thread in the project cars section of their forums....

They seem to be great as long as you don't expect the world from them.

The only concern I would have with them is longevity, as they are a sealed unit (no oil lines).

As long as the boost is kept within reason and within manufacturers requirements, they seem to be a good alternative pricewise.

Was tempted to go for the Raptor outright for my 5.0L but at $2500 for just the head unit, I bought a vortech V2 for the same price. Even CAPA charges a tad over 3 grand for em, but for the few $$$ more I'd be looking for something that is more reliable and proven.
