They will go straight in, im running the 42lb equivalent in my EB with the bbm. There a bloody big injector though, how much boost are you running.

Oh and btw, just squirt a LITTLE bit of wd40 around the o-rings, it will help them slot in to the holes in the fuel rail allot easier, there a little tight.

I'm not sure if the spray patter is different as per the stock ba injectors, which had a different spray pattern than the pre BA injectors.

As for the consequence of this I am unsure, have seen them used regardless though.

Yes the BA injectors are designed to spray down each port..
Though I have to ask if there is something preventing BA injectors from turning in there holding position ??
BUT the SOHC ports are big enough to take the wider spay pattern..
I have run wide spray and pencil type on my V8 and the wider spray pattern seems to give better
low rpm drivability even though they are much bigger injectors..
They atomize the fuel better at low rpm..

They should just settle in the one position and stay there. Its hard to turn mine once there in, its a firm fit. They have a tri spray pattern, are they directional?

With mine i carefully cut around the injector with a hacksaw and created another grove which allows the standard clip to go on. That is with stock BA injectors. With the after market 42lb i didn't need too. Even though the clip serves no purpose other than for ease of fitment (with the early injectors anyway).
