i run a m&w coil igniter msd coil and msd ignition

seems to up a lot up top

when i ran the car up on the dyno it was breaking down ,changed the coil and it made 10 kw more which i was pretty happy about

Thats a huge difference. Im hoping to gain a bit with a replacement coil on my car. Not sure if I need to go the other equipment.

can someone explain the whole ignition sequence in detail? how does the coil pack work? does it take the signal from the ecu and amplifie it on each individual coil? whats exactly in the system, and what does it do? ie you have ecu, crank sensor, coil pack, plugs... etc. in essence, and laymans terms, how does it all work?
