hi,
i have got a g6e turbo and was wondering whats the difference between the 270kw engine and the 310 kw engine in the f6?
is it just tune and boost?
or is there other things as well like exhaust, cold air intake, injectors etc???
thanks

The FG Phoon is running the same/similar turbo to the earlier B series FPV which is bigger than the FG XR6T and G6ET. Ford made a smaller turbo for their turbo cars with the FG to bring boost on sooner.

The FPV in the FG series stuck with the larger turbo so there is an additional 500rpm or so of lag compared to your G6E, however once it hits it accelerates like a scalded cat.

it will be running different boost, different tune, etc. Torque management will be different.

Not too sure about injectors, however I suspect these will also be diffeent as a couple of friends of mine who have FG series XR/G6 turbos have had to replace their injectors when pushing for more boost/custom flash tune.
