Hey,

They would be good for testing and evaluation purposes. I bought a T70, that was a few months ago now, and it is a bit flogged out in the bush. I knew it would happen, but i can fix it, and will, and sell it cheap to someone that wants to have a play around.

I have since purchased a Garrett. as i am not spending money to have a turbo fail and kill my motor. But any turbo can fail, so it is up to you as to whether you want to do the same as i have done.

You'll prolly blow a head gasket before the turbo craps itself.......

Cheers

Daz

Borg-Warner bought German manufacturer Kuhnle, Kopp & Kausch, or KKK, in 1997...
B/W make good turbo's.. Monsta are CHEAP and poor quality imo..

I should rephrase my statement, Snort use both KKK and Garrett

hey my turbo is an ebay turbo, has no brand name on it, part number is gt45y2004k, has been used for a while no shaft play at all,

My brother and I have had a few ebay turbos and the smaller t3 turbos seem to get shaft play up fairly quickly, but the larger turbos seem to be much better quality and last alot longer.
