i know this has been asked alot and im sorry but there is never one answer some people say walbro 255 or 320 etc etc. im getting a snort stage 2 kit ford my ef xr6 it comes with a rising rate regulator. i am after 220atw on sock bottem end i am wondering will 220 be ok with std pump and injectors if not which ones do i buy. i went to repco and they quoted my $135 each for 30psi injectors which is quite expensive i know but if i need them ill get them and also what size fuel pump internal or external etc etc. i was planning on running 6-8 psi of boost. im also getting a capa eliminator chip custom tuned by kpm motor sport in adelaide

With std ecc you realy have to keep std injectors..
Unless you fit a pigy back ecu like EMS Stinger which measures boost, and adjusts tune for corerect tiiming, fuel etc...
Another way around it is to convert to LPG ??

There's a bloke on AFF who reckons you can get a Walbro 255 and 6 Ford Motorsport 42lb injectors for $500. Dunno where from tho, maybe 2nd hand on ebay? See what you can find there.

Dunno about the EF but the AU's fuel system maxes out between 160 and 170RWKW. AFAIK that's the injectors' limit, I've seen claims of up to 200RWKW with bigger injectors and stock fuel pump and regulator. Claims, as I said. I haven't tested my fuel system that far yet, but the day is coming.

The AU uses 18lb injectors IIRC, I think these are unchanged from the EA, so EF's should be the same.

A walbro 255 fuel pump is a good investment.

There have been eseries turbo6 tuned with the Capa chip with good results, they can tune to suit the injector.

That depends what spring is in your wastegate.

The strength of the spring determines what boost it should open at.

You realy need an ecu or map that reads boost...
Without an ecu that does your engine is not tuned safe... There are methods to get it runing. But they are not that consistant or change to conditions...
Like the old days . Pain relief was a belt over the head to knock you out...it worked, but for some reason they don't do it any more ???

to control boost, why not get a turbo with an external wastegate and fit a boost controler, would this not work?

Acidic
