they all look very impressive, am looking into fabricating my own as well... grafting an e series log type manifold onto a b series cast na manifold to fit onto an FG. Have NO IDEA how well it will work, but should be a lot cheaper then buying an aftermarket plenum...

have a question . im currently running a snort turbo set up on my ef ,has the standard bbm is it worth while to remove the butterflys and mill out the housing for better air flow, will this cause issues or will it run better in the long run .

it wont cause issues, ive done it on mine . not milled it out tho , only removed butterflys , and then just weld up the hole at the front where the rod goes .

I assume that you mean donuts......just cut them up at what ever angle you want......join the bits....they usually line up pretty nice.......

yeah ok on the answer ,I had a look at my brothers ba doesn't have the bbm valves .its the turbo one yet the non turbo has them guys at ford said it doesn't need the valves if it turboes only if it na reason being is the non turbo needs the air controlled going in for better low rpm power where the turbo don't need them .I thought having them would help the turbo spool up quicker I know the new turbo fords have a smaller turbo unit but not sure if they have the bbm valves .so after all this on here I have read im better to stay with them in, unless I go for more boost say 10 psi or more ..ok

ah I see, I had a quick search for the donuts and can see they're just pressed out in two halves, makes plenty of sense now.

Thanks mate.
