The stock auto would have killed its times yes?

Is this the same supercharger that doesnt boost till really late?

Lucky ford tested them back then and decided to go with a turbo in the BA and not a supercharger, they have no potential in comparison.

Dan: if you're refering to how steve's car was boosting real late, that was fixed (crap belt setup)

the thing is, any type of forced induction of a factory car is better then none, even a supercharger can still have some scope for faster times.
I'd kill for a factory forced setup on an EF/EL or EA-ED for that matter... cheaper parts, more aftermarket stuff.

s/c v6 commies run 13's with their factory supercharger with upgrades..
I WANT THAT :P

how many converters do you need? lol you dont need 2.
just one big enuff to handle the power

gra is good, but some claim theres much better and it has been proven too.

gra is vvvvvvvvvery expensive as well, and supposedly very poor support for installers other then their headquarters so ive been told by a couple ppl

Yep I was referring to his car. When is it boosting now? Is it on the road yet?
I want to see what times it pulls. Be interesting to see how much further he can take it.

1 converter will manage roughly 180rwkw.
i have GRA, and i know the support is lacking, but it is there.
even my local LPG place can tune it.

Not sure, it felt a lot better the last time i was in it, but its off the road for a while... gathering funds to put a 5 speed in.
shouldn't do too bad once its back on the road :)

I love this car, & the Sequential. I was planning on get an EL, and following the exact mods.

You got to remember that this was made back in 1997, where the EL GT only had 200kw. So it's 230kw is a fair amount, and was probably only running low psi. Factory Commodore S/C setups pull 180kw. Sure enough if you did a supercharged setup today, you could pull more power than 230kw, but back then, it was bloody decent. And if you took it to the track, i'm pretty sure it would run a 14. Great car!
