Hey guys
Yes i'm new here.

i own an EF Falcon and have had it for 2yrs, i have done the standard mods (etractors, exaust, cold air), i have a 5 speed going in in a week or two, and also looking at a chip and cam and XR8 diff not long after. it has been re-sprayed, lowered, with a set of rims.
My ultimate goal is to have the complete package, which means more power and performance.
My question is, can anyone give me any info on a turbo package, i am on a budget but not in a big rush, i want to do it right the first time, i know i can pick up an XR6-t engine (wrecked) for 5K, but how much work is it putting it in an EF?.
Another option is just doing it bit by bit, but i'm not sure which way to go, a complete rebuild or just strap on a snail, i'm not looking for huge power but want a reliable car, any ideas would be great

Cheers ACIDIC

yeah id go put a turbo or a supercharger on it. itll cost ya alot to put the BA engine in and u can pick up a decent turbo or even a supercharger setup for 4-5k. also depends on what power your lookin at makin

i'm not looking for extreme power, just a complete package.
i know i can get an XR6-t engine at the wreckers for around 5k, but how much of the drive line do you have to change? i'm already putting a 5speed in this week, looking at upgrading to an XR8 diff.
Another question, how much work is involved in putting the XR6-t engine in an EF? if the price blows out there i will look at building what i have.
If i build on what i have, what do i need to do to get a strong, reliable car?

cheers ACIDIC

TRUST ME, the price will blow out tring to fit a BA motor into an EF, i started and killed the project before it got to deep in poo.

5k for motor
~1800 for ecu
1000+ to fit/tune ecu
mod sump to fit ef k-frame ~300
plus all ba pumps, and other crap, itll cost a coupla more thousand.

idd just visit snort, and if you want a better motor latter on get an au block, wich all the ef snort turbo gear will fit
