That's awesome. I have been planning to turbo my car, in fact, the EXACT same ED as yours, colour and all.
Just out of interest, is that ED lowered?

Cost is an issue, but fuel system could also be an issue, with so many LPG falcon's getting around out there. If i were to turbo my falcon, i'd have to work something out about the LPGI setup, apparently it's only good for 200 Flywheel KW, which with the fresh motor, isn't very far away at all. Not that i have the $$$ to turbo it, just spent too much on engine & 5spd swap. I have some extractors for it now, but i'll keep the stocko manifold incase i manage to get a turbo fall into my possesion. It doesn't look too hard to mod it to have a turbo hanging off. Cheers ToranaGuy

you can use a 'j pipe' to keep the stock manifold. no welding of the manifold needed.
i was gonna use that...until i bought a proper tuned length turbo manifold |

i was gonna use that...until i bought a proper tuned length turbo manifold You could, but would it flow good enough compared to putting the flange on the side of the manifold? No question that it's definatly easier to do the " j pipe ". Was thinking it just after i posted the last post. ROFL. Cheers ToranaGuy

Cheers ToranaGuy if you look on the first page (actually first post) of this topic, you will see that CHEF did the flange on the side of the manifold. so it would be best to ask him about it. if the flow was almost identical then go the easy way |

if the flow was almost identical then go the easy way Been following this thread for a long time now, and yes i have re-read the 1st page and taken a look at the pics. I'd be thinking the manifold with the turbo flange on the side would flow better, but without items to test, that's speculation. My ignition system is done now, ICE have rebuilt & recurved a dizzy, plus supplying a coil & leads for my Turbo Torana project. Can't wait to get it running again. I'll have a turbo car to play with. Cheers ToranaGuy
