the problem with your mates set would have been because of a poor tune or no tune at all..
a properly set up fuel system dont need a 12:1 fuel reg,
it all comes down to the correct ecu ,tuned for larger injectors and fuel pump.
just throwing on a turbo with factory ecu std injectors, std fuel pump and std reg is asking for trouble..
im not saying a 12:1 reg wont work, but imo it is more of a bandaid solution..
and i guess its refered to a bandaid solution because a 12:1 reg is a damn site cheaper than a $1500 aftermarket ecu

It might be, depending on the trim of the turbo. Need to look at what the original AIT's run for a turbo to get an idea...

Cheers

Depends on the trim of the wheel, .63 might be too small for a falcon 4.0 engine in a T3 size.

GT35/40's run a 1.06 or 1.16 rear housing and spool up a little later int he revs, but i wouldnt go under .80 rear housing IMO otherwise you might run out of puff, especially with a smaller turbo

anything under .86 in anything smaller than a GT35/40 will be a restriction.
the a/r size is relative to the size of the comp or turbine wheel that is being measured.

ok another question, this may have already been answered if so sorry lol the oil breather hose that connects to the throttle body. instead of connecting it to the inlet pipe on the turbo could u just buy one of these...

or find a EF-AU thats dual fuel and take the spacer piece from the ICS and run a catch can and place the vac line to this.

a few boosted guys are doing it this way, keeps it ADR approved

also if you run an AU throttle body then there is no need to block the factory hole for the breather pipes as AU's one goes directly into the intake pipe not the T/B

the issue i see with this, is if you connect you rocker cover breather or catch can to this it will pressurise under boost, unless it going to the pcv valve,

well that was one of the ones but its not hard to use an EA-ED one in-line for the rear breather. or even a universal one way valve on the line to the T/B. ill have to have a close look to how it works...

but my plan is to use one of these in my setup as im trying to hide as many hoses as possible
