This A.U engine has 250 rwkw and runs all day...It can run much more than than that ...Very quick throttle responce due to 9.2 compression.. Expect 300 rwkw when trans is uo to the task but as it is its very quick..
Image
Then there's this car making 360 rwkw without N20 [its hasn't been on dyno with n20]
Image
I stress this is a std motor with cutom turbo cam and double valve springs, AU head bolts. The head has NOT came off this engine...

what brand double valve springs are they?? when i was looking into some crow doubles i found the i.d to be too small which meant machining of the valve spring boss around the guide...

what was the part number imprteta?? the ones i was looking at had an i.d of .906" from memory.. im extremely happy with the singles that i selected, they have a good seat pressure and a better spring rate than the doubles from memory...

you arent confusing doubles with the damper coils are you????

Cool an EB/ED with a front bar to suit the intercooler

fritzz, i am aware crow list double springs for them, but did you lookup the spring specs, the inner spring i.d is .810" which is smaller than the lower spring boss on the falcon head, which measures in at .945" therefore, the inner spring will be resting on top of the 2-3mm high alloy spring locating boss, rather than sitting on the hardened steel washer that the spring is meant to sit on. what this means is that to fit these springs, you will need to have that boss machined down, and possibly a hardened washer with a smaller i.d also.

dont beleive everything you read (unless i wrote it) LOL

The springs fitted to Michael's engine are doubles .. XR6T with spring on in side...
Doubles generally have better harmonic stability over whole range...It's not so much rpm where springs are rquired stronger. Ithe boost aginst spring.. Being PSI there would be 3 or 4 square inches per valve at 15 PSI boost that add up...
Against valve spring....

on the 6 there is about 2.7sqin of inlet valve area, which means at 15psi boost, you are putting 40lb extra load against the spring

just pulled my rocker cover off to check my springs there doubles, part no.7333-12. the factory under spring washer actually has a step that the inner spring sits on, so no machining required. i also used there retainers and collets. hope it helps.
