think of the extra amount of air the turbo has to boost to fill it. look at a xr6 turbo plenum its not very big yet that egnine with no mods to turbo or intake can get around 500hp

This is a drag only car..Auto so lag is not an issue..Besides the turbo on this car is way bigger than XR6t's...Also XR6'ts don't tun 11 seconds with there manifold either..Its one of the first things aftermarket change...

for a DRAG car the intake runners are very small and a bit long for high rpm wouldnt u say.

Yes I agree BUT it is a long stroke motor and 5.800 rpm is about max for std internals...It's no big deal to re- fab this manifold if it doesn't work..
The runner on this are still shorter than most V8 runners..Pluss the 6 has bigger capacity per cylinder than 5.0 V8...
We'll see ??..Thats the fun of fabricating these manifolds etc..

Looks different! I like it though. By the books 1.5x engine capacity. I have my money on this one performing quite well. The long runners should pull some respectable torque figures.

Yes it pulled 262 rwkw the other day..
It needs a re-tune though with better exhaust manifold etc...
Be making dry ice intercooler soon...
And MSD ignition....

I think for drag only the plenum size is fine but will need a big turbo to keep it full. What sort of boost and what size turbo are you running...???

252 rwkw

GT35/40 700h.p turbo..

Boost well its through E boost but up to 15 Lb...

Even then, s**t has been done to auto to hold torque...
You won't see him do any burnouts etc as auto gets too hot..

252RWKW.. and low 11's.

I always assumed it would've taken alot more power to make those sort of times

He yes we help each other out on our cars..
How do you think I feel with 330 rwkw and run 13.6 !!
These 6 cylinders with auto's put there power down real real good...
All I did was wheelsin and bounce off rev limiter!!!
Manuals are so much harder to get right...
Thats my excuse anyway.....
Also the reason it pulls quick times, it has long power band..
Notice that most 6's run lowish mile an hour but do respectable times....
